FAQ Frequently Asked Questions Rickmansworth

What is Cryolipolysis?

Cryolipolysis, sometimes called Fat Freezing or Body Sculpting, uses advanced cooling technology to destroy fat cells in a non-invasive way by freezing the fat cells which then crystallise and are flushed out of the body as part of the body’s natural cycle.

How Does Cryolipolysis work?

Treatment is carried out with an electronic machine attached to the body with a clip that is painless and does not effect the skin. There are different sized heads for different parts of the body. The area targeted is cooled to the temperature needed to crystallise the fat and with a process called Apoptosis is then evacuated from the body as part of the bodies natural functions.
